أصيب المعتقل سعد إدريسبفيروس كورونا المستجد «كوفيد-19» بعد ظهور الأعراض عليه بقسم أول المنصورة وتم تحويله إلى الحجر الصحي بمستشفى السلام بالمنصورة بتاريخ 19/6/2020 لتدهور حالتهوتطالب أسرة إدريسبالإفراج الفوري عنه مراعاةً للظروف الصحية، وحملت الجهات الامنية المسئولية الكاملة عن حياته كما دعت الهيئات والمنظمات الحقوقية بدعم مطالبها للإفراج عنه.
