اعتقلت قوات أمن اسوان فجر السبت 15/8/2020 المواطن/ محمود مهدي مدثر المحامي، من منزله ، وتم عرضه علي النيابة بتهم الانضمام لجماعة محظورة وقررت النيابة حبسه 15 يوم علي ذمة التحقيقات. يذكر أنه سبق اعتقال المهدي عام ٢٠١٥ بنفس التهم وظل رهن الحبس الاحتياطي لفترة ، وبعدها حصل علي حكم بالبراءة . Aswan security forces arrested, at dawn on Saturday 15/8/2020, the lawyer, Mahmoud Mahdi Muddathir, from his home, and he was brought before the prosecution on charges of joining a banned group, and the prosecution decided to imprison him for 15 days pending investigations. It is noteworthy that Al-Mahdi was arrested in 2015 on the same charges and remained in pretrial detention for a while, after which he received a verdict of acquittal. Asvan güvenlik güçleri, 15/8/2020 Cumartesi günü şafak vakti, avukat Mahmud Mehdi Muddathir'i evinden tutukladı ve yasaklı bir gruba katılma suçlamasıyla savcılık önüne çıkarıldı ve savcılık, soruşturma sürerken 15 gün hapis cezasına çarptırıldı. Al-Mehdi'nin 2015 yılında aynı suçlamalarla tutuklandığı ve bir süre tutuklu kaldığı, ardından beraat kararı aldığı belirtilmelidir.
