أفاد شهود عيان بتاريخ 8/9/2020 : استشهاد الفتاة / جهاد عوض من العريش بالقرب من كمين المثلث بالقنطرة شرق بالإسماعيلية برصاص عشوائي من قوات الكمين، وأكد الشهود أن إطلاق النار كان دون أن يكون هناك أي تهديد أو هجوم على الكمين، وفسر شهود العيان الجريمة بأنها بسبب حالة الخوف والتوتر التي تعيشها قوات الجيش والشرطة في شمال سيناء Eyewitnesses reported on 9/8/2020: The martyrdom of the girl / Jihad Awad from Al-Arish near the Al-Muthalath ambush in Qantara, east of Ismailia, by random bullets from the ambush forces. The witnesses confirmed that the shooting took place without there being any threat or attack on the ambush.
