بتاريخ 2/3/2021 قام " وسام موسى" رئيس مباحث سجن شبين الكوم العمومي و معاونيه من الضباط والمخبرين ،بالاعتداء على حوالي 20 معتقل بالضرب والسحل والتعذيب ونقل بعضهم إلى زنازين التأديب، والبعض الآخر إلى زنازين الإعدام بعنبر"أ"، وذلك إثراعتراض بعض المعتقلين على إهانتهم أثناء تفتيشهم وتجريدهم من قبل إدارة السجن. و نتج عن ذلك إصابة المعتقل "ياسر قطب" بكدمات شديدة في إنحاء جسده، بالإضافة إلى إصابته بورم شديد في قدمه نتيجة التعذيب والضرب المبرح الذي تعرض له هو ومجموعة من المعتقلين داخل السجن.يذكر أنه يعاني من مرض السكر، وتم منع الأدوية عنه، ورفض نقله إلى المستشفي.
