أيدت محكمة جنايات المنيا،يوم الأحد، برئاسة المستشار سليمان الشاهد، حكم السجن المؤبد بحق 9 متهمين، والمشدد 3 سنوات ضد 2 أخرين، و15 عامًا بحق أخر، وبراءة 31 متهمًا أخرين لعدم كفاية الأدلة، في إعادة محاكمتهم في القضية المعروفة إعلاميًا بـ«أحداث مطاي».وتعود أحداث القضية إلى التظاهرات التي شهدتها مدينة مطاي في أغسطس 2013 عقب فض اعتصامي رابعة والنهضة.
